BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Oxfordshire

Circular horizontal memorial dial with Equation of Time table. It has a large 8 point compass rose in the centre of the dialplate. Around this are several rings forming a table of the Equation of Time showing by how many minutes a watch is faster or slower than the dial. This isn’t corrected for this longitude so the values are all 5 minutes slow. Outside this is the chapter ring with Roman hour numerals from 4am to 8pm and 30, 15 and 5 min marks. The numerals are viewed from outside the dial. There is a noon gap. The solid gnomon has a curved north edge.
