BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

53 Pier Avenue, Southwold

The dial is in the garden of a thatched house, and is visible from the adjacent Marlborough Road. Circular dial with back cut gnomon and side supports. Set on white baluster pedestal having acanthus décor with square capital - the whole on an enormous octagonal plinth. Further information requested.
