Whalebone House, Langham

Unusual vertical sundial formed on wall of the house using black hour lines and numerals. Lines are ’wiggly’ and not straight. Shows 10am to 8pm in hours. Date in Roman numerals, Inscription reads: ’W.E.D. XX Years’. Rod gnomon with stirrup supporter and fitted with an open aperture nodus at its end. No trace of declination lines however.
