BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Anglesey Abbey [NT] (4), Lode

The motto of its neighbouring multiple, SRN 0588, is echoed on this vertical dial mounted on a south-facing wall in the rose garden at Anglesey Abbey. The dial, possibly carved from red sandstone, does have a slightly menacing appearance but at the time of photographing it was in reasonable repair and the long gnomon with its curved leaf stalk supporter looks in good condition. There are several dials to visit here.
