BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary the Virgin’s Church (4), North Stoke

No lines or numerals but a horizontal metal rod ’gnomon’ above an upside down stone having inscribed on it "James : Stock(h)ell AD 1725". Probably not a dial but it may just possibly be a rod designed to cast a shadow on some edge at some specific time. More information requested.
