BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Hall, Waterbeach

Sharply engraved numerals and time lines, with an eight point compass, characterise this sturdily mounted bronze dial. It is set on the square capital of a spirally fluted squat baluster pedestal with acanthus décor and a circular base. There is much detail in the markings, with numerals to be viewed from the outside. A noon gap is incorporated to accommodate the solid stepped sigmoidal gnomon.
