BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Oxfordshire

Motto reads: "Drimur Morimur" [We rise we die]. Shows 7am to 5pm in half hours. Design Lat given as N5133. Maker’s symbol. Nodus is a sphere on the gnomon rod but there doesn’t seem to be any calibration for it. Gnomon is not of arrow design and is contained within the dial. Dial probably replaces an horizontal dial on an urn-like baluster pedestal known to have stood in the same place in 1982.
