BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Auld Kirk Museum, Kirkintilloch

The dial is mounted high up, in the place of two gable ’Dutch end’ stones. It is in the form of half a cube, cut across the vertical diagonal and turned to orient it correctly. Upright Arabic numerals, barely visible, on the SW face show 11am to 7pm and on the SE 5am to 1pm (but there may be more!). Intervals are not recorded but hours are presumed. The gnomons are missing.
