BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Design formed from the intersection of two bronze rings, one to hold the gnomon and the other as the equatorial ring. Numerals on inside edge of this so as to show time in both winter and summer. With deep border holding 30 sculpted cameos of local history. Shows 5am to 7pm in hours. No Noon gap. Ref: Council Booklet about the cameos "Tales from a Sundial", Jeremy Knight.
