BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Hidcote Manor (2), Hidcote Bartrim

Access to Garden visitors (entrance charge). Dial situation subject to designers’ positionings. Motto reads: "I only count youre sunny houres". Shows 4am to 8pm in half and quarter hours. Uses XII and IIII. Set on a 1789 slender baluster pedestal taken from the old Kew Bridge. The dial (or possibly only the pedestal) is believed to have been first displayed in 1923 and then kept in store till 1997.
