BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Dorset

Large square around gnomon root. Shows 6am to 5pm in half and quarter hours. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals arranged vertically. Hour lines pass through and dots separate numerals. Noon gap. Rod gnomon bent into triangle with unusual Easterly side stirrup support. Dial inset into stone wall and framed in stone. School was in receivership in 2004 so name of building may change.
