The dial is on the Annexe. A noon mark of slate and brass, 1500mmh x 450mmw declines 2° west. The months are labelled on the analemma and declination lines show equinoxes and solstces marked by zodiac signs. The nodus is a perforated cross. At the bottom of the panel is incribed ’Floreat Aula’ (May the Hall Flourish). In the winter this noon mark is shaded by surrounding buildings. The mark was made by David Brown in 2004.
