BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Latchetts, Danehill

The dial is in the sundial garden. It shows 4am to 8pm in 15 min marks (no specific half hour mark) . Uses XII and IV, with a noon gap and numerals read from inside the dial. Numerals aligned with hour lines. Gnomon made from square bar with scroll supporter. Fixed angle of 55 degs. Garden dial made from 10 precast pieces of stone or stone substitute. Cost GBP 400 in 2004.
