BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Motto reads: "Qua Redit Nescitis Horam [On which day He returns we do not know the hour]. Inscribed ’T / Rt Hon’ble / W.P. / 1794’ The ’T’ is for Treasurer, and the rest is for Wm Pitt (The Younger). It was the custom for a retiring treasurer to make a gift, and this is Pitt’s. Shows 1pm to 8pm in 30 and 15 min marks. Numerals separated by dots. Half hour lines longer than hour lines. Gold letters and numerals lined in black on blue border and square at root all on white ground.
