BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The motto reads: ’Time so complaind of who to no one man shews partiality brings round to all men some undim’d hours’, from the poem ’Consolation’ by Matthew Arnold. Shows 7am to 6pm in half and quarter hours. Time scale adjusted for GMT. Substyle line is marked at 12:12. Initials ’GMT’. Hour lines are brass strips set in the concrete. EoT graph on plaque nearby.
