BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Mottoes read: "Veni, Vedi, Legi, Vale", "Ars longa vita", "Luceo & Lateo", "Brevis hominum vita", "I shew by the kindnefs & splendour of the sun", "Vale non moralua hora", Subsidiary dials show time in Archangel, Baltimore, Madras and Natchez. Main dial shows 5am to 7pm in 30, 15 and 5 min marks. Uses XII and IV. Split Noon. Numerals all read from outside the dials. No gnomons present.
