BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Mottoes read: "Veni, Vedi, Legi, Vale", "Hora pars vitae", "Mors omnia vincit", "Brevis hominum vita", "Sol Gloria Spheroe", "I live and die daily", "Appollo is my teacher". Subsidiary dials show time in New York, Jerusalem, Van Diemens and Savanna. Main dial shows 5am to 7pm in 30, 15 and 5 min marks. Uses XII and IV. Split Noon. Numerals all read from outside the dials. No gnomons present.
