BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Millennium Green, Kingston Bagpuize

Human analemmatic dial to celebrate the millennium. The dial is on a mound in the middle of Millennium Green. It consists of 15 circular numeral hour stones and a date scale of three square stones. All have colourful carved and painted pictures of twenty wild species of plants. The hours show 6am to 8pm, with 1pm at noon (i.e. BST). Spots on the centre of the date scale indicate the beginning of each month. The dial was the gift of the local WI whose fritillary symbol is included. See www.kbsgreen.org for a plan of the green showing other features such as a maze. There is disabled (but no abled) parking. Dogs not permitted.
