BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in London (Greater)
Plum slate dial with inscription around edge. Inscr reads: "From his friends on the occasion of his 60th birthday". Initials PRWP (those of owner) and family crest. Shows 4am to 8pm [Delin 3am to 9pm] in half and quarter hours. Uses XII and IV. Numerals read from inside the dial. Declination line for 1st May (owner’s birthday). Compass centred on gnomon root which is also the centre of the dial. No Noon gap. Main lines and numerals inscribed in V-section. Single piece undercut brass gnomon with ’W’ nodus and four semicircular side supports. Set on a turned Ham stone baluster pedestal (by Mark Rawlins).
