BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

37, Nottingham Road, Codnor

The dial is on the roof ridge at one end of the house. The gnomons are missing. The west face shows 12 noon to 8pm in hours. The gnomon mountings on this face suggest that the faces might decline though this is by no means certain. Ball finial. The maker might be Silcox, who built the house in 1649. Further information requested.
