BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Doddington Place, Doddington

This Millennium dial is in the spring garden. It is a mirror glass obelisk with a pointed top that forms the nodus on an otherwise virtual gnomon. The apparent root of this is marked by a brick marked ’MM’. Bricks with numerals on them show 9am to 3pm in hours. Roman numerals use the form XII. Hour markers are positioned for the summer solstice.
