BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in London (Greater)

Shows 5am to 7pm in half and quarter hours. Uses IV and cross patty for noon. Letters 17 DT 09 appear to refer to Deodatus Threlkeld and are confirmed by engraving style. Design lat appears to be 53.6 degs, consistent with the other examples of the maker in the North of England. Probably a clock correction dial. Simple ’S’ shaped gnomon. The dial is not mounted in the garden but is kept indoors for security.
