BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Herstmonceux Castle, Herstmonceux

The dial is in the gardens, set on a bracket fixed to a hexagonal sheet on top of a circular brick column some 650h. It is said to show 6am to 6pm, using XII for noon. The rod gnomon is fixed to a diameter of the time scale.
