BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Tayside Region

The dial is on the south wall of a converted cottage. It bears the name of the house and the dates of its building and extensions. Shows 7am to 7pm in half and quarter hours. Gold leaf numerals and gold plated brass gnomon with downward curved rain-release shaped supporter. Hour lines emanate from a circle at the gnomon root and further lines come from it above the horizon line to give a stylised sunburst.
