BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Edward’s School, Oxford

Across the top of this stone vertical dial is the name Jack Dyson. He died in 2001 aged 15 and it is in his memory that this dial was made. The dial declines 27° east and shows the hours V - IV divided into halves. A cup and dagger (the school arms) appear below the brass rod gnomon.
