BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Gloucestershire

Uses a cylinder of liquid to project a cusp in sunlight. Shows 7am to 7pm in half hours using 24hr clock. Noon gap. Inscr reads: "Summer Time". No underside scale for winter use. Set on slab sided pedestal on the upper lawn.
