BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Warwickshire

On the square section pillar supporting this dial is the inscription, "Erected March 21st 1914 by parishioners . . . in affectionate remembrance of the. . . Faithful vicar of this parish 1867 - 1912." The 300mm square bronze dial plate shows the hours V - VII divided into halves, quarters and 5 minute intervals. The chapter ring is circular with decorations in the spandrels. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from outside the dial. An 8-point compass rose surrounds the root of the gnomon (surface mounted with curved supporter). Inside the porch to the right of the South door is a mass dial carved before the porch was built, though it might still catch the low sun in winter.
