BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Warwickshire

The square section pedestal looks older than the present dial which was presented to the church in 2000 by the Senior Citizens Club. The dial plate is a brass octagon measuring 180mm across the sides. It shows IV - VIII divided into halves, quarters and 5 minute intervals. There is an 8-point compass rose and the motto, "Time Flies". The gnomon with its curved support is set at the right angle for the latitude but is placed too far South on the dial plate.
