BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Gloucestershire

To the right of the path to the House. Motto reads: "Time Flyes". Two phoenixes across the line of the gnomon. Compass centred on gnomon root. False date of 1760. Shows 4 am to 8 pm in 30, 15 and 7.5 minute marks. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from outside the dial. Noon gap. Cast gnomon with knuckleduster style of piercing. Set on a low pedestal of unusual dolphin design, with square capital.
