BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Southend High School for Boys, Southend-on-Sea

White furniture on light green ground with yellow superimposed half sun containing letters of school and date. Shows 6am to 3pm in 30 and 10 min marks. Numerals read from outside the circular scale. Six declination lines - which do not meet at the centre show months. Nodus on sturdy black two-stayed rod gnomon. Designed by a teacher at the school and made by the 6th Form.
