BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Mechanical Music Museum, Cotton

Sunface at dial centre with flames as compass points. Shows 4am to 8pm in half and quarter hours. Uses XII and IIII. Noon gap. Numerals read from outside the dial. Gnomon with knuckleduster piercing is set too far South. Tip of gnomon is bent back. Set on an octagonal capital on a tree stump.
