BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Grassed area at roadside, Elmswell

Cross sundial set in the centre of a raised circular ’drum’ seat which is decorated with 12 mosaic panels depicting the history of the village. The times in hours are shown with black markings on the yellow tiles of the cross. Cardinal compass points are also marked on the ground surrounding the seat in mosaic tiling. By 2011 the cross had sadly deteriorated.
