BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

145, The Village, Hambleden

Made by S. Tilbury, the owner and a local blacksmith, in 1986 this rectangular vertical south dial has a wrought iron overlay containing all the dial furniture superimposed on a white board. It shows the hours VI - VI undivided with hour lines extending to the semicircle round the gnomon root. The sheet gnomon has an undercut edge.
