BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Church. On South porch, Crich

The dial was most probably painted since the gnomon is so clearly fixed to the wall and has no extension at the root to accommodate a dialplate. However there are some iron hoops that may have supported some plate. Strip gnomon with ’S’ supporter.
