BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Peter’s Church, St Peter

The dial is above the window on the south transept in the recess formerly used by an eroded limestone dial that has been retired. The gnomon is of stainless steel rod with a strut ending in a traditional half hoop. A golden sphere nodus casts a shadow which, on 29th June (St Peter’s Day), follows the declination line marked by crossed keys which is the badge of the Parish.
