BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Jersey

Circular timescale on white stone square. Quite badly worn. Shows 4am to 8pm in half and quarter hours. Uses XII and VI (sic)) for 4pm. Numerals read from inside the dial. Right triangular open gnomon with scroll piercing. Set on elaborate (though indescribable!) square section pedestal 99Oh. Measurement of angles of lines suggests that the design latitude was N54 or N55. Gnomon angle is 56 degs. Maybe the dial came from the northern UK? The house was built in 1969.
