BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Motto reads: "Thou by the dial’s shady stealth mayst know time’s thievish progress to eternity" Complex pattern in centre. Two chapter rings. Shows 5am to 7pm [Delin 4am to 8pm] in 30, 15 and (two scales of) 5 mins. Half hours marked by inward diamond ended markers. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from inside the dial. EoT graph at South. Time scales end in ’hour marked scrolls’. Also at South is ’P Malet de Carteret 12 September 1983 ®crafted by Mersitic for Latitude 49 30 N’. Sigmoidal gnomon 9mm thick. Set on slate disc and mounted on 975h cylindrical column with large octagonal capital. The De Carteret family is the oldest on the Island.
