BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Belvoir Park Golf Club, Newtownbreda

Sundial from the now demolished Belvoir Estate House dating from 1740s. Only one dial on the plate. Shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15 and 5 min marks. Uses XII and IV. Noon gap. Numerals read from inside the dial. Trefoil design at North and astronomical diagrams in the corners to demonstrate the seasons, the zodiac, phases of the moon and eclipses of sun and moon.
