BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Biggar Museum, Biggar

The dial marks European Conservation Year, 1970. Horizontal dial with pin gnomon, the tip acting as nodus. Hour lines for 6am to 6pm, no numerals. Inscribed along the top ’AZURE & SON / ISLANDS LTD / OCEANS INC’. See photo (c) for interpretation. Compare SRN 6013 at Canterbury, Kent.
