BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Staffordshire

In churchyard. Circular time scale on square plate with no apparent décor in the spandrels. Solid gnomon with side supports. Set on downward tapering pillar 1300mm high with square top and base. Shows 6am to 6pm in half and quarter hours. Uses XII (4pm character not recorded). Numerals read from inside the dial. Design latitude stated to be N 53 00.
