BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Kildare

The dial is heavily lichened. It is in the walled garden, set on a bulbous pedestal, 1275h with a circular top and square base. It shows 4am to 8pm in half and quarter hours, the numerals read from inside the dial. There are traces of an EoT ring around the periphery. A curious tilted ’S’ shaped supporter is attached by lugs to the gnomon.
