BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Tyrone

Compass rose in dial centre. Shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 10, 5 and (in Arabic tens) 1 min marks. Half hours marked by fleurs de lys. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from outside the dial. EoT scale of Watch faster slower type. (pre 1752 ). Abercorn Arms with their motto: "Sola Nobilitas Virtus". Part solid infill to gnomon with two side supports. Set in top of octagonal pedestal, capital and base.
