BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Kerr Street, Portrush

The dial, set on a 600mm high circular base, is set for BST and is longitude corrected. The thick gnomon incorporates a sculpture titled: ’Shades of my Father’. It shows 5am to 10pm in half and quarter hours and has an EoT graph in the Noon gap, all using black lines on white and coloured tiles. By 2012 it had been dumped in the East Strand car park.
