BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Argory [NT], Moy

The dial will be found 3 miles south of Junction 14 of the M1 (in Ireland of course!). It is in the Rose Garden of The Argory, set on a fluted cylindrical pillar with an inscription around the circular top reading: ’EB - Here Reader, Mark the silent steps of never standing time’. The dial shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 10, 5 and 1 min marks, with the minute ring marked in Arabic 15, 30, 45, 60 etc. Fleur de lys half hour markers. Uses XII and IIII, with numerals read from outside the dial. Unusual EoT scales marked Sun too fast, Sun too slow. 8 point compass. 38 lines showing noon in various cities. Coat of Arms of the Bond family (motto ’Nemo me impune lacessit’). Surface mounted open gnomon with scroll supporter.
