BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Buckinghamshire

The dial stands in the east section of the churchyard. The motto reads: "Tis mine the passing hour to tell; Tis thine to use it ill or well". The dial plate has a sunface in the centre and is now partly bent. It shows IIII - XII - IIII - VIII, read from outside the dial and divided to in 30, 15 and 7.5 minutes. Eight compass points are labelled and a motto is contained in a ring outside the chapter ring. Set on square section tapered pedestal with square capital and two step base. Letters on top of capital read: "Post Tenebras Lux". Cross on side of pedestal and inscriptions on base.
