BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Pheasant PH, Ballinger Common

Circular vertical dial on the wall of the pub. The dial has gold-embossed Roman numerals on a blue, slightly domed, ground. They show 6am to 6pm in hours. The rod gnomon, without any supporter, protrudes from the mouth of a sunface. The dial and gnomon should face due south. The wall of the pub declines significantly to the west.
