BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Buckinghamshire

This modern embossed/cast dial stands in a small garden in the south-west of the churchyard. The motto reads: "Sunny Houres". Hours are IIII - XII - IIII - VIII with a noon gap, read from outside the dial, and divided to in 30, 15 and 7.5 minutes. Half hours are marked by inward trefoils. Two point fixing. Set on square section tapered pedestal with square capital and base.
