BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Corpus Christi Guildhall, Lavenham

Motto reads: "Corpus Christi vitam aeternam dat". [Christ’s body gives eternal life]. Commemorates the Golden Jubilee. Shows 6am to 6pm in 30, 15 min marks. (Possible 5min marks). Uses XII and IV. Rod gnomon without arrow head or tail. Inscr reads: "With a new faith in the old and splendid beliefs given us by our forefathers and the strength to venture beyond the safeties of the past, I know we shall be worthy of our duty". [QEII]. Arrowed directions to Melford Hall, Ickworth Park and Theatre Royal (Bury St E) Set on square section brick pedestal and plinth.
