BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Hengrave Hall (2), Hengrave

The dial is in the walled garden, set on a circular section untapered baluster pedestal with a square base. It shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15 and 7.5 min marks and with (on the periphery) 10 and two pairs of offset 2 min scales giving 1 min marks numbered in Arabic 10s. The numerals are read from outside the dial. Inward lozenge and outward arrow markers for half hours though arrow heads point inwards from outer end. Uses XII and IIII. Noon gap. Missing gnomon had side supports.
