BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Millennium Green, Earls Colne

Analemmatic dial set in grass to look like an arrow ready for firing. Numbers are glazed inserts set into red concrete discs. Shows 7am to 7pm in hours (BST). Arrow points North through numeral for 1 pm. "Flight" of arrow is the date scale formed from two parallel rows of five parallelogram shaped paving stones, alternately pink and stone coloured with the months scratched on in a script font. Arrow shaft and lines joining 7am/pm to the rear of the flight are in pink kerb stones.
